Picking
Picks can automatically be assigned to a Pick Wave and the applicable wave rules applied.
Any RF task can be suspended and restarted or transfered to another user.
pacXcan identifies and provides efficient directed walk paths for picking.
Orders can be picked as FIFO, LIFO, least units, closest units or next nearest location.
It provides real time visibility of all inventory, whether in storage locations or “on the move” during any RF task. e.g. picking or replenishing.
pacXcan offers a choice of picking control options: (Discreet – One Picker, One Order.) (Cluster – One Picker, Multiple Orders) (Group – Multi Pickers, One Order or many Orders).
Supports “cross-docking” requirements, incoming stock can be picked from the “dock” without the requirement to “bin” the inventory first.
Urgent orders can be fast tracked. Any pick job can be prioritised or deferred as required.
Cycle Count
Cycle count period ranges are managed at warehouse level.
Several triggers and activities automatically generate a count requirement on a locate.
Cycle counts can be generated manually for multiple locations based on various selection rules and criteria.
Variances are not added or removed but just parked in a virtual location till end of a cycle period and adjusted only then so stock will not fluctuate. Manual process can override this so stock can be adjusted at any stage.
System keeps a control of number of locations in a zone and count statistics.
Informs supervisor of average number of locations to be counted each day to have the total warecouse counted within a cycle count period.
Despatch
pacXcan provides electronic despatch transfers to carriers and is ASN ans SSCC compliant.
pacXcan can be adapted to automate distribution to major retailer packing and delivery requirements.
Prepares bar-code frieght labels, bar-code consignment notes and electronic manifests.
Supports freight rates by carrier / region for distribution cost purposes.
Maintains cubic metres of each consignment for estimating pick up size.
Maintains the average weight of each consignment.
